My client, a natural beauty & nautical gift shop in La Jolla, CA reached out to me to create a brand identity as clean as their products. Inspired by the voyages of sailors, the logo & logo mark convey finding adventure but always knowing knowing where home is. The coordinates used in the logo mark point to the exact location of the shop. The client originally wanted strictly black and white, though when I presented deep navy and white with a touch of sky blue & lobster red, they were thrilled with the pops of color.
